Business Description:  Aetas Health Care Inc. (“Aetas”) is headquartered in Calgary and provides services through offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Hamilton and Cayuga.  The company is one of Canada’s largest providers of home health care services, offering professional nursing and para-professional health services, facility-based health and personal support services and an array of social services. TriWest Capital Partners (“TriWest”), a private equity group, owned a controlling interest in Aetas.

Role:  Solaris Capital Advisors Inc. acted as exclusive financial advisor to Triwest and Aetas’ management shareholders in the sale of Aetas to CBI Health.

Outcome:  CBI Health has operated throughout Canada for more that 30 years and is headquartered in Toronto.  The company manages an extensive network of rehabilitation facilities with more than 1,000 clinical and support staff offering comprehensive services in physiotherapy as well as occupational, exercise and massage therapies.

The combination of Aetas and CBI provides significant opportunities for revenue expansion and cost synergies.
