Transaction:  Divestiture

Business Description:  Headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, and employing approximately 500 people, Optimal Services Group Inc. (“OSG”) is one of the largest independent information technology hardware installation, service and maintenance networks in Canada.  OSG delivers services through its five depot repair locations, 21 service locations, 14 inventory warehouses and through an extensive on-site field service organization maintained throughout Canada.

Role:  Solaris Capital Advisors Inc. acted as exclusive financial advisor to OSG in the divestiture of its hardware services business to Keycorp Limited (ASX:KYC) of Australia.

Outcome:  The acquisition of the OSG hardware services business offered Keycorp an immediate Canadian platform with highly visible industry recognition, an established distribution network and an installed based of national customers.
